Lawrence Mello is a Instruction and Engagement Librarian at Wimberly Library at FAU's Boca Raton campus. Lawrence is the subject liaison to the History Department, Political Science Department and the Communication and Multimedia Department here at FAU as well as the library liaison to South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD). He is a Naval Veteran and served aboard the Trident Submarine USS Henry M. Jackson.

When Lawrence is not busy serving in his role as a librarian at FAU and working with their students and faculty, he enjoys spending time with his family. He is a avid sports fan and follows many different types of sports. Loves to travel and see the world. He also loves all things Walt Disney, Star Wars, Star Trek, Game of Thrones and Harry Potter.
