Library "Do-It-Yourself" (DIY)

I am looking for maps

World Map

The FAU Libraries main map collections are in Wimberly Library on the east side of the 1st floor. Many maps are also available electronically.

The electronic guide to the map cabinet contents is Map Collection and also contains links to recommended online map collections.

For more personalized help, visit our Government Documents Department in LY109 (west side, 1st floor) or email them at bbarron@fau.edu.

Find Maps in FAU Libraries Catalog

  • Search for maps through the FAU Libraries Catalog by using "Advanced Search" and choosing "Format" as "Map."
  • Another catalog search method for maps is to enter the relevant location into the Search box as a keyword and enter "map or maps" into the next Search box. You can also add keywords about the type of map you need (for example: "Geology" or "Interstate 95").

* Be wary of limiting your search by "map" format. Some of our maps may not be encoded as such; instead, add "map" as a keyword in your search.
