What do you need to do to receive an FAU library card?    

  • Present your Palm Beach State College library card and a current fee schedule to the FAU Circulation Desk. You will be given a short form to fill out and will receive a free FAU Library Card.
  • Library cards must be updated every semester.

What can a FAU library card do for you?

Palm Beach State College-Boca Raton Campus students may get an OWL CARD at the OWL CARD Center
(University Center, Building 31, Room 138).
 

  • A current fee schedule is needed and the cost is $10.00. An Owl Card is good as long as you are enrolled at Palm Beach State College-Boca Raton Campus. 
  • The FAU OWL CARD serves as a library card, with the added advantage that it can be used to pay for Printing and Copying.

How do I pay for printing at FAU library if I do not have an OWL CARD?

  • Purchase a "Visitor's Card" at one of the "Cash to Card" machines located on campus (cost is $1.00 for the card itself). There are several of these machines in the Library.
  • Put money on the Visitor's Card to pay for printing or copying. The machine does not accept coin or ATM card. Bring $1, $5, $10 or $20 bills to use with these machines.

What do you need to do to receive a Palm Beach State College library card? 

  • Visit the Bookstore at room BK-107 on Palm Beach State College-Boca Raton Campus. Phone: 561-862-4361.
  • Your Panther card IS your Palm Beach State College Library Card.
  • You must be currently enrolled and present a valid schedule. 

What can you do with a Palm Beach State College library card?       

  • Check out books at any Palm Beach State College campus.
  • Access Palm Beach State College electronic databases from your home or other remote location.

 How can I access FAU electronic databases?  

  • You will be able to access FAU electronic databases ONLY from FAU campus locations.
  • FAU electronic databases are NOT available from off-campus locations to Palm Beach State College students because of licensing restrictions.

How do I access Palm Beach State College electronic resources?

How can I use a desktop computer at FAU Library?

  • Stop by the Reference Desk or Circulation Desk to get log-in instructions.

Where can I park on the FAU campus with a Palm Beach State College parking permit?

  • Students and Staff wtih Palm Beach State College permits can park only in Parking Garage I and Lot 19 (both of which are by the library).
