The collection allows students and researchers to analyze historical events, and the presentation of historical events over time, through commercial and governmental newsreels, archival footage, public affairs footage, and important documentaries.

Art and Architecture in Video includes documentaries and interviews illustrating the theory and practice of a variety of art forms. The collection spans period and region, including coverage of the Renaissance, Neoclassicism, Romanticism, Modern, and Contemporary art.

Faculty who wish to request a movie may fill out the Digital Campus Movie Request Form. We now have access to numerous documentaries and the top 200 films on Digital Campus.

Features over 240 videos of the most common mental health disorders nurses may encounter – whether in a primary care setting, emergency room, medical, psychiatric or other.

USC Shoah Foundation's Visual History Archive is a streaming collection of primary source video testimonies from survivors of and witnesses to genocide. Users can search through and view more than 55,000 video testimonies.
Initially a repository of Holocaust (1939-1945) testimony, the Archive includes the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda; Anti-Rohingya Mass Violence (August-October 2017); Armenian Genocide (1915-23); and others.

Patrons can click on “Register” and create a unique username and password, as official login is required for use of “My Projects/Bookmarked Projects/Shared Projects” features.

Verify video information at IMDB. Take note of title, director, year, and actors.
Look for videos - Try these steps

Type the title of the film in the Electronic Journal Search Box.
Check the FAU Library Catalog.
If film is not in catalog, check each of the streaming video collections below.
Check the links in the Free Film Websites box to the right for additional options.

To request a video or DVD, utilize the General Materials Suggestion Form.
Faculty can put their personal DVD on Reserve. For details, see http://www.library.fau.edu/depts/access/resfac.htm.
If borrowing a DVD from another FAU campus, instructor must request DVD from FAU Library Catalog using their FAU account (see request at bottom left side of catalog record). When DVD is received, use Media Center Reservation Request Form to request DVD be placed on Reserve.
