What's a Call Number

Refer to call numbers to find our books on the shelves. Every book is assigned a call number which tells you where in the library you can find it. FAU Libraries use the Library of Congress classification system, which uses letters and numbers to designate subjects covered (example: PE1075 .L47 2007). Need more help, click here.

Interlibrary Loan

During your research process, if you find that our library does not have the particular book or article that you are looking for, you are able to request it through Interlibrary Loan (FAU).

It may take 7-10 days for your loan to get to you, so plan ahead.

NOTE: Tower Campus students should order materials through the Broward County Library's Interlibrary Loan department, unless your pick up location is Boca or Jupiter.
