Welcome to the National Science Foundation - Interdisciplinary studies course guide! This guide is an overview of the information resources available to you as a Florida Atlantic student. Resources include databases, journals, books, and more!

The goal of this guide is provide students with prompt access to the University Libraries' resources. The following can be found in the pages of this course guide:

  • Research Cycle - walks students through the research cycle and how it applies to their research. 
  • Search Strategies - helps students begin to put together their research question into a searchable strategy. 
  • Get Articles - recommends the best places by subject to begin searching for articles. 
  • Find Books - provides access to searching the University Libraries' catalogs and beyond. 
  • Research & Writing Help -  shows students how to get additional assistance when writing their papers and how to get additional help with their research. 
  • Web Sites - not all information on the internet is junk. This page links to reputable organizations and agencies.
