The Modern Language Association has released the 7th edition of the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers, published in 2009.  This new edition is currently on order.

Not all of the resources listed have updated their guides.  Be sure to review the changes before you turn in your assignment if your instructor is requiring you to use the most recent edition of this style guide.
