Mendeley Desktop is the downloadable desktop version that allows you to organize and search your personal library, annotate documents, and cite as you write in MS Word.

Mendeley Reference Manager is the web-based version of Mendeley that includes many of the same features as Mendeley Desktop.

Mendeley Desktop app will no longer be available for download after August 31, 2022. If you download it prior to that time, you will be able to continue to use it and sync it with Mendeley Desktop Manager (online version).
