The center highlights the experiences of traditionally marginalized groups through intentional interactions aimed at fostering awareness and cultivating new perspectives. By offering quality programs and educational opportunities to all students, we create a campus climate that values differences and promotes equity.

The Office of Black Student Success and Initiatives (OBSSI) seeks to connect students of the African Diaspora at FAU to support services, initiatives, programs and resources that prepare them for success beyond graduation; and to raise awareness across the university community of disparities impacting African/Black student success. Students of the African Diaspora consist of individuals of native African origin living outside of the continent regardless of their citizenship and nationality.

Office of Hispanic/Latina/o/x Initiatives and FUTUROS Success Program seeks to:
--Enrich the educational experiences for Hispanic/Latina/o/x students by fostering an inclusive and supportive environment;
--Offer programs and events to help Hispanic/Latina/o/x students grow academically, personally, and professionally; -- Prepare Hispanic/Latina/o/x students for success after graduation

As part of the Center for Inclusion, Diversity Education, and Advocacy (IDEAs), the Office of Diversity Education and Training aims to foster an inclusive university community by providing services, programs, and support that engages, empowers, and educates our vastly diverse student population. The office collaborates with the campus community to create an institutional and community climate of advocacy that contributes to overall student success.
