Self-Service for Students

A "How To" guide for FAU Students to learn about the library, its resources and services.

What can I do with Interlibrary Loan services?

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service that allows requests for the following items:

  • Library materials available at a different FAU campus library.
  • Journal articles and other library resources that are not available through the FAU Libraries or its online resources.

Not all materials (such as textbooks) are available through ILL.  Please read its FAQs for additional information.

How do I get to Interlibrary Loan?

From the Libraries' home page, select the link "Interlibrary Loan."  It will open the Interlibrary Loan page (see below).

Select the link "Proceed to ILLiad" to log on to Interlibrary Loan.

Go to log on instructions.
