LOC Online Orientation Programs

The Digital Reference Section conducts a one-hour orientation monthly via Web conference. Throughout the program, there are opportunities to ask questions, try various search tools, sample the multimedia primary source materials online, and become familiar with the digital formats on the site.

Additional videoconferencing programs are available to researchers to acquaint them with the many collections available on the Web.

Connecting to the Library of Congress

The Library of Congress is using social media technologies and websites to engage the public with Library news, events, acquisitions and exhibits. They are also sharing selected historic content from their collections (where no copyright restrictions exist) in more places and more ways.
