Environmental Engineering

Voyager 1: Pale Blue Dot by NASA JPL/CalTech

Welcome to the FAU Library's subject guide to Environmental Engineering. Environmental engineers develop solutions to problems of planetary health. Their main focus is the interaction of the environment with human day-to-day life and work. Thus, environmental engineers work with wastewater treatment, hazardous waste management, pollution control, water treatment and delivery, and many other issues.

This guide contains information resources including books, databases, journals and more. The goal of this guide is to provide easy access to library resources and make students and researchers aware of resources they may not have known about.

There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known. - Carl Sagan
