Healthcare for All: Disability

The FAU Libraries strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students. We are constantly making changes to improve the experience of our students with disabilities most notably in the area of Physical Accessibility, Assistive Technology, Adaptive Technology and Research Assistance.
In addition to the services listed above, we have set up a form to allow anyone to report an accessibility barrier.

The Student Accessibility Services' comprehensive academic support services include advocacy, academic accommodations, Assistive Technology equipment/software training, Assistive Technology Computer Lab, Learning Strategies training, and an active student organization. SAS has offices across three of FAU's campuses: Boca Raton, Davie, and Jupiter; however, accessibility services are available for students attending any of the six FAU campuses.

FAU CARD is the first step after an individual gets diagnosed with autism or after an individual has been determined eligible with the school district. We help bridge needs with resources and services for individuals with ASD.
Mission of FAU CARD:
FAU CARD provides expert consulting, training and support, at no charge, for all people across all race, ethnic, and gender groups, with autism and related disabilities, their families, employers, the professionals and community and governmental agencies serving them.
