  • We will add additional titles to this guide as textbooks become available. 
  • If your textbook is not on reserve, consider asking your professor to place a copy on reserve.
  • Students: If you have a current textbook to donate for course reserves, we thank you very much for your generosity, and ask that you bring your textbook to the Service Desk at your respective FAU campus library.   
  • The Library staff does its best to ensure the currency of this guide.  To be sure you are using the required materials for your course, always refer to your syllabi for textbook editions and reading requirements. 


How to use this guide

  • Using the tabs to the left, look for your course prefix and click the appropriate tab.
  • Textbooks showing a book cover are available for borrowing from the Service Desk in Wimberly Library on the Boca Raton campus.  Click the hyperlinked title of a textbook to see loan availability.  
  • Read Now hyperlinks provide access to e-book versions of a textbook.  Click the title of an e-book to read the book online.


Loan policies*

  • Hard copy textbooks typically can be borrowed for 2 hours at a time and must remain in the library.  A current FAU Owl card is required to borrow hard copy textbooks on reserve.  For access to online textbooks, use your FAU netID and password.
  • Textbooks are not available for semester-long checkout. 
  • *Textbooks on reserve at the Jupiter Campus are noted in the "Jupiter Campus" tab.  For inquiries about  borrowing textbooks on reserve at the Jupiter campus, call (561) 799-8530.  

Keep in mind

  • We will continue adding titles to this guide as textbooks become available.
  • Ask your professor to place a copy of your textbook on reserve if you don't see your textbook in the guide.
