GIS (Geographic Information Systems).

Welcome to the GIS Corner @ S.E. Wimberly Library

So, what is the GIS Corner?

The GIS Corner is a designated computer area located just outside the Government Information & Maps Department in the North West corner of the library on the first floor. It provides our FAU students, faculty, and staff with GIS Software and the space and ability to work on any project they may have.  The space is for the most part a self-service space and to access the software you will need to log in with your FAU Net ID.  We do have a GIS TA who has designated hours to assist or answer your questions you may have. Below you will find a step-by-step on how to get you into the computers and access the software for GIS Mapping.
