About this Guide

            Choosing the Best Journal Sources

Articles are found in a wide variety of publications. The library's subscriptions span a wide range of literature, and include popular magazines. Recognizing distinctions between types of periodical publications and selecting from scholarly or academic journals are must-have skills that will enable your success. View the tutorials provided by the link to learn some of the most important differences among periodicals. For academic assignments, selection of peer revied articles is often required. The tutorial on peer review provides a quick overview of the concept. On the same page, we provide a link to a small number of journals that focus on educational law and general education.

Bibme is an internet tool that formats references for use in bibliographies.

           Professional Resources

Find links quickly that will take you to regional school district web sites, the Florida Department of Education and the Code of Ethics, and the U.S. Department of Education.
