Resources to Get You Started:

  • OneSearch

A search tool provided by FAU Libraries in which you can perform a combined search of the library catalog, journals, and databases.
  • Historical Abstracts

Historical Abstracts indexes journals covering the history of the world from 1450 to the present.
  • Google Scholar

Google Scholar searches across many scholarly disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, and universities with non scholarly results filtered out. It is a good place to start if you are unsure where to begin your research. Many of the resources in Google Scholar are linked to FAU and can be downloaded.
