OneSearch covers all subject areas and includes a vast amount of resources in many formats. Use its search box to look for article citations, books, articles, and other resources.

Also search in the Catalog, Databases or e-Journal list. 

Use OneSearch to find books, journal articles, newspapers, streaming video, and more in the FAU library. For more information, see the following videos:

General Search Tips

Be specific for best results, e.g., photography during the civil war, not just civil war. 

Refining your search: After entering a search, use the facets on the left to narrow the results
  • target only peer-reviewed articles 
  • show only items with Full Text available online 
  • include newspaper articles, books, journal articles, and more
  • limit your results by content type, discipline, date, subject terms, language, or library location.

When it is not available at FAU Libraries

For items not available in the FAU Libraries collections, click on the title and scroll down to "Request through Interlibrary Loan" to place an Interlibrary Loan request for the item (Pre-registration required to use this service).
