Library of Congress Classification

The MacArthur Campus Library uses the Library of Congress Classification System to organize their collection of books. This system is illustrated in the table below.

Call Numbers A - E are located on the first floor.

Call Number F - Z are located on the second floor.

Children's Books


The children's books are located on the first floor. The MacArthur Campus collection has nearly 5,000 children's titles. The best way to locate children's literature titles is to choose Advanced Search from the home screen and then select Jupiter, Children's Literature from the Location drop-down menu.

WorldCat (World Catalog) is the world's most comprehensive bibliography and catalog representing over 400 languages and millions of bibliographic records. WorldCat can be used in conjunction with ILLiad to request items not available through FAU libraries.
