Civil Engineering

Welcome to the FAU Libraries' subject guide to Civil Engineering. One of the oldest engineering disciplines, Civil Engineering is concerned with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and natural structures where humans live. These structures include dams, bridges, roads, buildings, water and sewage transport systems, ports and many other great works.

This guide contains information resources including books, databases, journals and more. The goal of this guide is to provide easy access to library resources and make students and researchers aware of resources they may not have known about.

Scientists investigate that which already is; Engineers create that which has never been.  -Albert Einstein
