American Musicological Association This is the Web site of the American Musicological Society, which was founded in 1934. It provides references to various publications in the area of musicology, including doctoral dissertations. Additionally, it gives information about funding and grants, and other types of information.
IMSLP/Petrucci Music Library Provides access to music in the public domain including music scores and recordings.
Internet Resources for Music Scholars This is the Web site for the Loeb Music Library at Harvard University. It provides access to research guides and other valuable information for scholars who are researching various music topics.

LOC Music and Performing Arts Research Guides This is a full list of research guides curated by library of congress librarians. These guides are specific to the music collections that are housed by the LOC. They explain the best ways to search for music and information related to the individual music collections.
Aaron Copland Collection The Aaron Copland Collection spans the years 1910 to 1990 and contains approximately 400,000 items: manuscript and printed music, correspondence, diaries, scrapbooks, programs and clippings, photographs, books, and audiovisual materials. The Copland collection online includes over 1,000 items selected from the larger collection.

National Jukebox (Historic Recordings from the Library of Congress) For those that do not know what a jukebox is: A jukebox is a partially automated music-playing device, usually a coin-operated machine, that plays a patron's selection from self-contained media.
