You may encounter changes in the look and feel of the Research Guides website along with structural changes to our existing guides. If you have any questions or concerns about this process please let us know.

RefWorks Transition

Step 1: Choose an Alternate Citation Manager

Before you get started with exporting your references from RefWorks, you must first choose a different citation manager and create an account. Click here to learn about the different citation management managers and to compare features.  For the most efficient export process, download the desktop application of your new citation manager.  Once you have created an account with your preferred citation manager, you will need to export your references from RefWorks.

Step 2: Export Citations from RefWorks

Please see the PDF below for instructions on exporting citations from RefWorks (document shared by permission of the University of Florida).  (Exporting your Refworks library will not include your PDF files. You must download each PDF file individually, and save in a different space, such as a desktop folder or Google drive; or link your Refworks to Dropbox).
