EndNote is a reference management software program made available in limited form through the FAU Libraries subscription to the Web of Science database. Live training in the use of EndNote is available via WebEx and aims to address the needs of beginners and advanced users. They also schedule open Q&A sessions.

RefWorks is one of the FAU software programs for citation generation. However, the following open source citation tools are also available.
It is highly recommended that you verify the accuracy of any citations produced by these tools using an official style manual.
Menedley is a free reference manager and an academic social network. You will need to download this program to your desktop after registering.
BibMe is a free online citation creator that will store more than one citation at a time. It is user-friendly and allows you to search their database for your resource. Select the resource and the citation style, then a citation will be created automatically.
Noodlebib Express is a free online tool that creates only one citation at a time based on information you provide.
