About this Guide

File:Cold-war-jfk.jpg

As World War II came to an end, so did the alliance between the United States and the Soviet Union. With two distinct ideologies, both nations became strong adversaries for world domination. The Cold War was now upon the world and both powers began to play chess on the board of foreign policy.

The purpose of this guide is to provide, you the researcher, the ability to do research on the subject area of Cold War Foreign Policy between the United States and the Soviet Union. You will have the ability to search the library catalog and access our databases and journals all from within the course guide. This guide also provides you with a list of Primary Source Websites and Collections on the subject of Cold War Foreign Policy, along with important information regarding library services and departments that may prove useful to you while you are doing research.

Sincerely,

Lawrence Mello, M.A. M.L.S.

Librarian Liaison to the FAU History Department.
