To enter the Advanced Search from the Google Scholar search page, 

  • Choose "Case Law."
  • Click on the down arrow at the right side of the search box. 
  • Enter the search information in the appropriate boxes.
  • Click the magnifying glass to begin the search.  

Searching in Particular Jurisdictions

How do I search for case law from a particular jurisdiction?

You can select specific jurisdictions, such as "Federal" or "Florida" on the left side of the results page.

If you chose "Select courts...", you can choose more than one type of Federal and/or State court for all 50 states. Simply check the boxes for the jurisdictions you are interested in searching.
